Default Just bought a nice socket set

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...rtNumber_370635

Just bought this, it's half their RRP at the moment and it's the pro set that is reportedly made by snap-on with a lifetime guarantee.

Anyways I thought it was a good deal and figured it might be worth posting but obviously if it contravenes the then take it away

Good deal though

It's a good set, I got that about 9 months ago, and it was on offer at that price then too

Ah, I love the British concept of a "sale".

In france if you announce a sale it has to be at a specific time of year and it has to be an ACTUAL sale, not just what you normally sell it for with a big red sticker on it

What size do the sockets go up to? I need about 23mm for the steering wheel on the Beemer.

We have 5 of these sets at the Car Club at work - brilliant kits, even if the allen keys do go missing!

The best bit is the lifetime guarantee - they will replace like-for-like as long as it is not blatantly obvious that you've been misusing the kit.

The life time guarantee only applies to the metal not the moving parts (so ratchets wouldn't be covered) but to have a worn socket replaced FOC is good.

Good question, I'll let you know or someone else that has one will Pretty sure 23mm will be covered but don't quote me on that till I've checked.
