I have to admit, I don't normally bother looking at fuel price as I know it's high at the moment.

This takes the piss though.

It wasn't a motorway one either, just a local!

It was Super unleaded but even still... I actually made a comment to the checkout bird that it was ridiculous.

So, it's a massive amount more than when the last feul crisis hit and the truckers waded war - so why is nowt happening now? Surely the hauliers will be suffering?

Feels like it will carry on spiralling out of control.

We're all dooooomed!

Good job I can hit near 40 mpg now

They'd probably get whacked by some anti terrorism laws if they dared block any refineries.

The thing that narks me is that the government take a percentage in tax. As the price of oil rises then their cut increases. What they ought to do is reduce the percentage of tax, they would still collect the same amount of revenue.
