He entered the WRC in his 40's, long after most professional sportsmen have had the testimonial and taken up golf, so is it really surprising that he isn't kicking Loeb's arse?
He may not be the fastest point-to-point, but anyone that questions his ability as a driver must be blind - that level of car control, bottle, and ability is otherwise confined to cartoons and CGI.
