The king is dead, long live the King!
The S2000 has gone and been replaced with a TVR tamora
Totally different animal to Honda, it's like being at the wheel of something that's trying to kill you when you put your toe down. It really is that mental. One downside is having to get out of the car to take the roof off and it's a bit of a pain to get it in the boot. I'm sure it will come with a bit of practice though.
Will post more impressions later

Came from a TVR Griffith (& a Scooby) to the S2000.......
Completely different characters but both have rear wheel drive, roof off fun and best of all a grin factor......
If you get a good TVR, and a good TVR independent garage to back you up, you won't have problems......
And remember TVR's are like women, no matter how much you try and understand their problems you never get it right

Its tour de force blue (dark blue) with 12k on the clock. I've got a grease monkey mate who lives just down the road, so I'm not too worried (due to it being a good'un). The best I've seen any way. Still the difference in build quality is miles away from Honda, but then again so is the performance. The top end of the rev range is insane/scary, acceleration over 90 mph is like nothing I've felt before. In the Honda I used to put my toe to the floor all the time, in this thing I don't get the chance to. Can a car be to fast? Or just to fast for me to drive?
Going to give it a good clean and polish today, take a few pics, will someone post the pics if I email them?
BW, I'm sure it could be arranged
Agent Wild, just out of interest, how many TVR's have you actually owned?

Sounds cracking Sub.
I have always been wary of build quality on the TVRs, but then I was looking 8 years or so ago at the Griffiths - how much has the build quality improved? I presume they are sooooo much better now than the early Griffiths and Chimeras.
Anyone got any comparisons between the two (or is there simply no comparison???)

Enjoy Sub,
We have a TVR centre nearby and I have driven a Tamora from there twice. The accelaration is insane but when that car bites it really hurts. I didn't like the car, I found I spent too much time trying to control it on the B roads with an arse that really shakes. The car is very raw, getting back in the S it was "you want to go that way, fine we'll go that way", the TVR was fcuk you I now what I WANT. I still have a lot of respect for the TVR but I couldn't drive one every day. There is a lot of power there for a very reasonable price.
