Well, we ended up with carcinogenic diesel engines being prevalent thanks to the EU's crusade for low CO2 emissions, so this is a small blemish in comparison.

Far from clear at this moment in time though according to that article.

All supplier test data says safe
All OEM test data says lethal.

If Merc are found to be pi$$ing about with results I reckon Honeywell will be pushing for a lot of compensation.

If we could persuade the MFRS to put the dangerous stuff in any car ordered by a chav / fake burberry owner / ugg boots owner I'm struggling to see a downside with this.

You could even charge them a premium for it
