Default Le Mans "24 in 24"

Just packing for a mad weekend dash to Le Man to watch testing on Sunday.

Leave Tunbridge Wells, in Kent, at 1:30am Sunday morning to catch the 3:30 am ferry. Should arrive trackside by 9:00am for the start of testing, leaving when the track closes at 6:00pm. Mad dash back to Calais for the 11:30 pm ferry home, arriving back in Tunbridge Wells by 1:30 am Monday

We did it - there and back in 24 hours and 1minute. Blame the The return ferry which was 10 minutes late disembarking

650 miles and 50 mpg four up in a diesel Toyota corolla

Can't wait for LeMans in a couple of weeks. But the only mad dashes I'll be doing will be from the sofa to the kitchen to make a cup of tea.

I'm just doing final prep's on the S2 for the drive down on Sunday (late ferry and through the night) for a long week of Le Mans fun :-)

Haven't been for a few years, so looking forward to this one and most of the arranging is being done by a very gracious friend, so no complaints here :-) :-)

Anyone else going down ????

Darren.

We're staying in a campsite a bike ride away from the track, bit more civilised than the main Le Mans sites :-) :-) and has electricity, warm/clean showers the lot :-) oh and no pikey's :-)
