There was a teacher at my school who was driving his uncle's car...or something like that. It had some contraption-like device just below the steering wheel that worked all the pedals.
His uncle's legs were seriously damaged (I don't know why) so he had the 'legs-free' driving kit installed so he could still drive.
He was giving a few of us a lift to an away football game and I didn't believe him so he told me to pull the handle...I did...and the car stopped...sharpish
