i just looked at the headlights.

 

Its from Clarkson's 100 best cars of all time (or summat similar).

The S2000 gets a crap start but is back with the Elise by the line. I tried a similar test against my mate's unmodded Mk II Elise from a tollbooth in France. Reeled him in and passed him easily despite a muffed gearchange.

Still love the S2000 despite that fact that the engine has gained no extra bhp in 9 years of production, unlike the Boxster, Z4 or SLK.

111R on a X plate? Nah.

 

Yep, that's it's a 111S like Russ's. I'm surprised by just how much the 111S spanks the other two off the line. It does well to hold off the S2K to the 1/4 mile marker too.

 

No Gaz its the 120 bhp base model, the 111S came out a few years later.
