I like this BBC drama, spotting the 70's cars is the best thing.
Triumph GT6 looked great, especialy in slow motion

You kids!

You had to watch the rear-end on those too. Especially with a TC 2.5 dropped in.

Harry Webster (development engineer) died recently.

The only thing with these period dramas is that all the cars look so well kept, I don't remember the 1970s having such shiny cars compared to today

I can always imagine the owners just off set wincing as the star slams their lovingly restored door for the 36th take

Would all you oldies like a sit down now and maybe a cup of sweet tea before your mid morning nap?

I'm sorry Ed I was too busy using a remote control to be paying attention. It's a clever device that manages to let you operate a device without being physically connected to it.

Think of it as being similar as to shouting commands at a donkey. That might help you understand.

I have one of those for my washing machine. It's multi-function and can operate the dishwasher and the kettle too.

She's called Kate.

Do they sell them in Comet?

The version I have for that has this annoying noise that comes from it once it has been programmed with its task list. If I could stop the noise that would be fantastic.
