Are the rules still fixed so that the diesels win?

Just the way it's worked out. However, there are major rule changes planned for next year (or is it the year after) which will reduce the sizes of both diesel and petrol engines and introduce a cap on power (500 bhp IIRC).

Whether this will equalise the two engine types I'm not sure ...

The screw up between the Peugeot and Pescarolo pit crews was entertaining too. I'm amazed they didn't pull the Peugeot back immediately and make a precautionary tyre change. As it was, he got the inevitable puncture and had to drive an entire lap whilst the rear of the car self-destructed.

The Peugeots seem to have the pace on Audi, but if the Audis can consistently make an extra lap before fuelling, that will surely see them home ...

The Eurosport coverage has been good so far. Never really been interested in Le Mans before and its fun to watch.

Interesting Mansell wants a go next year as part of a family team. His son racing this year (Leo) speaks with very similar tone to Mansell senior.

May rain in the next hour!

Dembo, at Race of Champions last year he got beaten in one round quite badly and he refused to give an interview and stormed off across the arena.

He's generally not very likeable iMHO

Impressive effort from Lola Aston Martin getting top petrol honours.

Nice pics Boz. I watched the Legends race on Saturday morning won by that yellow 250LM.
