Default LJKSetright autbiography

The wonderful LJK Setright's unfinished autobiography, "Long Lane with Turnings: Last Words of a Motoring Legend " is out now from all the usual outlets. I'm sure there will be many kind words for Hondas in there, as well as lots of long words i'll have to look up!

It's on order; I anticipate delivery within the fortnight.

If something doesn't make one think hard, it's probably not worth reading!

Same here.

Your last sentence sounds like a description of Playboy...

Probably true, but I don't think LJKS wrote for them!

He did in fact!

Book's arrived. Looking forward to a read.

Check out the width of the wheels on his 'Lude on the rear cover inner leaf. He didn't like lost motion in soggy sidewalls!

Now that would've been a good excuse to buy Playboy..."but Mum, it's got an article by LJKS in!!!"

The good old days of 'Car'. Llewellin, Bulgin, LJKS, George? (who mostly wrote about the hospitality). Gavin Green was editor back then.

LJKS, a Gavin Green article on racing a Civic 1.6iVT in the Wilhire 24hr race ("it doesn't whizz past Golf GTis and Astra GTE's so much as sail comfortably by"), and a James Ruppert article on buying a used CRX got me started on this wonderful Honda adventure, or even automotive love affair
