Although I guess there is a high probability of rwd cars spinning within the first 1/2 mile on a wet day given cold tyres?

Two vids of the ring I have seen recently will really make me respect it when I go.

vid 1-M3 following the M5 ring taxi which Gad posted a while back. Sheer top end speed of the M5.

this vid-take it v.v easy on your 1st outing

The normal tourist entrance is better as you have a good half mile or so of straight to get sorted.

This entrance is in the middle of a quick chicane. it's a downhill fast left, followed by an uphill fast right. Not the sort of place you want to just pop out at on the track.

Its at Breidscheit (the bridge near Adenau) where you can still go on or off at a rough half-way point. I've only come off there once when my mate had spun my S at Adenau Forst and I wanted to check out the car ASAP.

Still, what a tool.

Ouch, that's gotta hurt.....................your wallet.

Just goes to show just how much respect this track deserves. Hats off those that can drive fast in the wet round the 'ring
