Default Look what the sun's brought out!

I always leave my weekly trip to M&S until late Friday afternoon /early evening as there are sights to be seen and sport to be had on the roads. People, young men in particular, tend to drive with brio as they are fired up for the weekend. (Nice blast up that S friendly gradient to the A10 pursued by a Clio Cup. )

The sun brings out the pretty young girls in their skimpy tops and short skirts, which is nice but of more interest to me is cars coming out of hibernation.

Always get fired up by a bank of four exhausts. Followed this for a while.

I had no idea what it was. The mature male driver looked quite smug. Evidently there is an electric version.

Nearly at the shops and saw a gorgeous lemon yellow Lancia Fulvia a bit like this.

If I can post pics without use of the gallery so can you.

Let’s see pics of what the sun has brought out where you are, be it pretty girls or pretty cars.

Lightning Electric Car. Looks similar to yours but minus the quad pipes ...

Beautiful Lancia ...

No pics of it outside the office, but someone brought a Renault Sport Spyder out to play in the sun - in that lovely metallic mustard colour. Might not be the prettiest thing in the world but it's definitely one of those pure summer cars

Spanish Plume in Essex today.

I saw a gorgeous classic black Fezza this morning crossing from Essex to Herts over the Stort bridge. It looked similar to an E-Type Jaguar with lots of brightwork. The lights were E-Type-esque but a bit more U shaped. Any idea what it could have been? A California maybe?

My italian barber was showing me his lovely Lancia Fulvia yesterday - sadly not running yet as it is awaiting a new cylinder head, but he's nearly there - it's like this but not quite as concours.

He also has a beautiful Seicento (the original version) and an Alfa 75 which he's going to track at some point.

I was out on the town last nght and I'm pleased to report lots and lots of pretty girls in short skirts and skimpy tops, sadly no pics

It looked like your second pic UF only black.

Wondering if I am suffering from false memory syndrome? The lights and the shiny chrome bumper and other brightwork at the front stood out in the sunshine but surely owners of such cars don't drive them on the public roads, especially in the insalubrious vicinity where I spotted it?

I'm no classic car buff but I know a pretty car when I see one. Hope the driver appreciated my extravagantly mouthed, "Nice one!"

Doesn't Chris Evans own a black one of these?

It's possibly the prettiest car of all apart from the Mirua or Stratos
