MB is tearing up the race tracks of Europe
Sounds like you had fun matey. Spa is on my list of tracks to do at some point as well. Thinking maybe the S needs to go and I need to find something a little more track focused
Good on you for offering passenger laps to strangers. That's something I love about track days, the opportunity to go for a fast ride in someone elses motor.
Looking forward to the videos.
So what's next? Monza, Ascari, Imola.....

Looks like you had a good trip mark.
I'm hoping you mean the one on the right!

Mark B, I just spotted your thread on car changing, will be along shortly!
Boab, most kind
Chilled, hope you enjoyed the text commentary?
Jamie, not sure really - this is definately my favorite as it's very long and keeps you interested.
Drac, yes it's very steep. Some of the lower powered cars would lose speed over it, even the Caterhams. It does require a lot of balls, as one of the new Golf GTi's with slick tyres found on day 2 Came over the crest, lost it, and went head on into a tyre wall. I have footage of the aftermath!
You need to carry as much speed as you can through it, as there is a very long straight on the top. I managed 125 mph before having to brake on that straight, but some of the big boys were going quickier.
Actually there are a few high speed confidence corners. My favorite is the double left hander a couple before the bus stop (Pouhon). Hang on for dear life! I was behind a 211 which lost it on the second bend and smacked his car up
Ta for all the comments, alas most of the pics (the bigger ones) are from the BaT photographer Small ones are from my camera phone. Have loads more.
I'm really keen to get the video up but it's going to be a couple for weeks. I felt like I was fast, but some comments from the masters on here would be good regarding lines. My first few laps, including the ones with the instructor were embarassing By the end I was passing a lot of stuff and had the car on the edge most corners so I left really happy. My lines still need much work though!
