Default Mobile camera vans

Been back in the UK for nearly a year now (!) but don't drive very much at the moment so still catching up with the developments in speed traps.

Is there such thing as a camera van that can catch you while it's moving? Or does it have to park up to be operational?

If the former, bugger, whereas if the latter, phew.

Cheers

Nope they can't catch you while moving. The camera needs to be operated by someone as the camera itself is not empowered with the right to prosecute you so it means it's unlikely at least for the moment that the vans will have the ability to move.

I'm sure it will come though.

It's quite satisfying nailing an overtake past a scamera talivan though... immature I know, but it gives me a great sense of childish satisfaction
