Yep so, just like truvelo cameras, totally useless against motorbikes who are more likely to speed.

Making a bit of an AN ASS UMPTION there aren't you.

From my own observations on the bike, when it comes to the areas where there are more likely to be pedestrians about i.e. the 30 and 40 limits, its the cars who speed far more than the bikes.

While I agree that inappropriate use of speed is a dangerous thing, particularly around built-up areas such as schools etc., surely the very fact that there are so many people who are prepared to lie/call-it-what-you-will to avoid a ban suggests that the rules are simply wrong in the first place?

Why don't the law makers look closely at the underlying problem rather than trying to 'patch-up' the situation by making even more complex rules that surround the underlying cause?
