Default MSVT training

I want to do some razzing around circuits this summer, i want a bit of tuition and spotted these fellas:

http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/prod...e-academy.aspx

I've done Don Palmer which was good but want to try another

They do Cadwell which is good for me and Bedford which would be fun and safe...

i found this online but couldn't find another review either way

Have you much circuit driving/track days experience?

If you're a relative novice, I'd just do a track day and book 2 or 3 sessions of instruction. this then gives you time to practice what you've been taught.

An average track day will give you about 6 hours of open pit lane, meaning you spend about 3 hours on track.

If you break that down to 3x20 minute sessions with an instructor, that gives you 40 minutes (or 2 sessions) or practice in between.

I've done half a dozen, one with tuition, one the don palmer thing, donny and a couple of airfield days, a rally car one, a drift one with caterham so yeah, a novice.

My only concern re the above is quality of instructor.

You are right to be concerned, although it's very much a case of whether you get on and understand each other. It can be a bit hit and miss.
At least with the short sessions you can always ask for someone else, but if you get stuck with someone for a day who is no good for you, that's bad news.
