When I was a kid I was taken to Brands Hatch by my brother in his AH Sprite.

I still remember seeing one of those driven by a Japanese driver called Tetsu Illusawa beat an AC Cobra and an E type amongst others.
Surely I didn't dream that

It seemed extraordinary at the time.

A milestone vehicle, congratulations!

ive yet to pick it up but its set up for track use as well as being road legal

the original engine has been bored to 850cc and produces around 95bhp at 10,000 rpm (std is 71bhp at 8000)

built in 1968 (so just older than me)
, has been used as a hillclimb car and spent 10 years in dry storage up to a few years ago

ill know more soon got to do a 600 mile round trip to pick it up

I bet you'll need some rarely used spanners on that

Boz, yet another reason why I'd like to be your best mate whilst simultaneously hating you at the same time
