Default National Speed Awareness Scheme

Suddenly realised I should have been on one of these courses, for which I'd paid £87, to avoid the points and £60 fine.So I'd forgotten.People forget, though still my fault.(This was for doing 36 in a 30 limit)
Phoned up, said I had forgotten, apologised, could I reschedule.
Yes, but for another £87.
No flexibility whatsoever when I spoke to the manager.
Anyone else done this?
Not happy.

Showing lack of due care & attention twice would NOT impress them.

Try MS Outlook.

I have to attend one at the end of the month and all the paperwork I've been sent, and the booking agent have stressed that if I fail to show I lose my money and will revert to the points/fine. With that in mind I'd say you're lucky they will entertain you for another course, although £85 is a bit steep...

You pay them £87 to be patronised and avoid a charge from your insurance company.

They take your money and statistically show that they are educating on the dangers of speed.

Realise it's about money.
But it's still annoying.
"They" show no flexibility whatsoever, which is again not surprising.

Attended one? Yes. Forget to go? No. I remembered very carefully having got the message when I booked on.

But you will love it when you finally go, It will make it all worth while

So you "forgot" and you're pissed that you will have to pay again

What if everyone "forgot" or couldn't be arsed to show up

I'd say the offer of another course is more than fair even if it costs you

You could always take the fine and the points of course

ps a doctors note might have been a cheaper option (if you can blag one)
