1 Series, A2, AClass, all stupid money new. I mean, who would shell out upper double figures for such a car?

Some do - but then some don't care how much cash they lose!

In a girly way, the A2 is cute. I have to admit that. But cute only on the right money

A lot more sensible than the Mercedes A-class drug.

Aluminimuninum and it won't fall over round corners.

Get this: BMW are disappointed with the 1-er sales. No shit Sherlock, it's hugely expensive and looks like a dog turd. Hmm, they did learn so much from the merger with Britisch Leyland.

Not a bad second hand buy (for a bird )

Amazing what price people will pay for a new one though - just for the badge Eyewatering.

I just couldn't imagine too much time in the driving seat.

I need a 'this car is my wifes, honest' badge.

I have a set from a few years back and some stands.

It is certainly a lot less gay than a Jazz.

It could do with an S2 type engine to go like shit of a shovel.

But the economy is mad on it - it will return 70mpg. With 35 quid a year tax and 200 quid full comp insurance.

Once some other monkeys have had the depreciation, onward ownership is very reasonable and pretty comfortable with quite a few gadgets.
