Default New boots for 'Lude

They're the same size as the '04 S2000 fronts, if that helps.

The only thing I dislike about the Proxes is the soggy sidewalls slightly spoil the adjustability (no surprise there then!) and I understand the latest F1s are much improved in that department.

I know both are excellent wet or dry and the upside is the Proxes' excellent ride. Tyre life isn't that crucial; when they're gone, they're gone.

Help me decide, please...

Ive just fitted some GSD3's to my lude and they are a massive improvement over the Yokohama Parada's i tried.

What are you running at the moment Nick?

T1-Rs. Hence the slight disappointment.

Yoko Paradas seem so have the dry/track handling, but not the wet grip, from my research only.

What's the turn-in & sidewall stiffness like over the Paradas?

The Parada's wet weather grip is beyond dangerous. On par with cars i have driven with worn 888's on.

To be honest the Goodyears are better in just about every aspect. From turn in and sidewall stiffness to outright grip. They are even a little quieter on the motorway.

I have always used Avon ZZ3's on the Prelude and found them to be awesome.

My Prelude has 17's all round.

Turn in is great, sidewalls are stiff, dry is awesome, wet is perfectly acceptable.
I've used these since around 2002 when I stopped being able to get Yoko A539's for

Thanks for that!

Since tyre that work well on one car can sometimes be a disappontment on a very different one, that's pretty much the re-assurance I needed to give them a try.

Will get some ordered...

I'm using Vredstein Ultrac on the ATR (same wheel as yours?) They came with the car and I've been impressed so far, wet and dry. Cheap too -

Interesting choice there.

I like the Fast Responses on the Civic - do what they say on the tin, and no real weaknesses. A lot better than the Proxes in the snow, too.
