To be honest I wasnt bothered with sat nav - I have tom tom. Though there are some around, finding a straight car on lowish miles, in the right colour in a manual etc etc was hard enough - they are not the norm by any means it seems.

It has a 3 month warranty - I could purchase a better one, but I doubt I will. Given the amount of work Im having done before collection I cant see the warranty be that valid.

Interesting point on the tyres - Ill see what it comes up with. The wheels on the rear were pretty mint, so Ill make sure they still are and have new treads.

Surely its not far off your le mans blue is it??

I know what you mean.

LM blue is similar, but that was the wife choice, it's her car

Ah ok, saw that colour on the M5, always liked it. Always liked blue but never owned a blue car in my life - had so many silvers/gun ship grey it was getting daft! Oh and never a black car again!

Your colour is darker than LM blue.

Blue is a lovely colour in cars-I really like dark blue Fezzers.

Nice - good choice for a wide boy chav!

That's a pretty rare colour actually, very nice

Are you sure you don't fancy the ring on Monday next week?

I saw a metallic dark blue Vanquish in Congleton today - not seen one in that colour before it looked good.

Look forward to your initial thoughts and subsequent experiences of running the M3 in due course, Andy.

What's happened to the photos? It's got the proportions of the 2-door 1-series!

Mind you, it's got the prettier Michelotti/IDEA/Civic Coupe styling than the preposterously-ugly 1-er.

They are quick & sound glorious on a track!

And if you're a shit driver, they can still stonk it around a track and the electronics will save you.

Had a quick Pax lap at the ring in an M3. The guy couldn't drive, was sawing at the wheel like aloon, whilst all the lights are merrily flashing away on the dash. Kept him quick though.

He did admit he probably would have binned it if it wasn't for the electronics though.
