What was the IRC rally championship has been renamed the S2000 championship so all the manufacturerers (Citroen, Peugeot, etc.) are producing S2000 models ...

There are S2000 spec cars racing in the btcc too. Fair confused me when I heard it mentioned over the tannoy.

And the 2009 IRC Champion is a Brit, Chris Meeke and he drives a Pug 207 S2000...

And he's leading the Rally of Scotland...

It is likely to be the way the WRC goes... that or the "standard" 1.6 Turbo route...
