They seriously didn't put some kind of firewall between the externally-accessible entertainment system and the safety critical driving controls?! Really!? Jeez...

Whilst it's not ideal I don't see what the fuss is about.

They let people drive and people crash all the time from not paying attention, to getting distracted, to being p1ssed.

There are going to be driverless cars, one of them IS going to malfunction/crash, and the media will kick up a sh1tstorm.

People will go full retard and say driverless cars are sh1t when they will be the best thing to be introduced for car safety since the 3 point belt.

And it's because of this that companies have to say 'it'll never happen' because if they said 'Yes, the chance is 25 million to 1 of a systems error that may result in a collision' the media and all the idiots would see 'yes' and the whole thing wouldn't get anywhere.

People are bellends.
