The front lights and bonnet lines look like they have been stolen straight from the S2000!

What a shame.

They could have taken a blank page and come come up with something as innovative as the original when it was conceived all those years ago, but instead they have just created a parody of the original design.

The only parts of the design I like are the roof which is lifted from the original
and the rear lights which look as if they have been stolen from a Porsche 911.

I'm sure dynamically it will be an improvement, but I thought the rumours were of a 300bhp+ from a new engine.

For me it is a design in the same vein as the Golf - desparatley trying not to offend or alienate old customers with a design that is too different.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will attract many new ones.

I like the interior..

One other note - I have a copy of the press release here and it looks like the Top Gear article has got one item wrong - the 3.2 is normally aspirated not turbocharged

Those pics are all wrong, AutoExpress recently printed the 'real' pics and it looked superb.

I am sure I posted it on here

Moff they printed pics of the TT's proposed little brother, possibly a soft top but it looked like the usual Autoexpress CGI photoshop job. The pic of the new TT was printed as a very small image of a very ugly car at the bottom of page 7.

The shopp'd pic looks interesting, though I'm not sure if it would have lasting appeal and to be honest I really cannot stick the feckin ugly front grille on Audi's. It doesn't look so bad on these pics but stick a number plate on it and it will look awful IMO.

These are definitely pics of the new TT - they're attached to the aforementioned press release from Audi

Looks like they really struggled with the current TT styling and the 'generic' style throughout the whole audi range.
