I saw one on the road for the first time today.

I think it looks pretty nice.

Less butch/aggresive and more elegant than the old Z4.

Quite big though - I thought it was a 6-series convertible from afar!

 

I agree, I hadn't seen one in the flesh until I was at the dealer recently, it looks really good but large compared to the outgoing model.

Far prettier than the old one as well, but probably not a sports car anymore!

 

I parked my S next to one and it was quite shocking to see just how big the BMW is!

 

I've seen plenty of them around. They are about the only new car to look absolutely terrible in white.

 

And 1600kg big too!

How much does a 5 series weigh?

Edit: just checked. It weighs the same as a 5-series

 

i have seen quite a few.

and i hate to say it but the first z4 looks better.

 

I work next to BMW HQ and see loads of BMs driving about and the more i see the new Z4 the more i like it. When i'm ready for my next weekend car i'll be giving them a serious look.

 

the old z4 was like a light bulb hanging fron the ceiling on a rose and pendant.not attractive but it did the job.


the new one is like a Chandelier,but still with the one light bulb.
