That's alright then.

Even chasing Imprezas around, I rarely get less then 22 in the 'Lude.

Excellent choice Mikey, Auto or manual?

I've seen 29mpg a few times now, but you need a very long journey, no traffic and lots of cruise control.

The mpg is only bad when you look at the performance (or lack of) that goes with it. From what I've read here it's about the same as an E39 M5

Since that last post I've gone past 50k and had new front shocks under warranty. I still love it.

Apart from the occasional silly idea about AMG Mercs, I'm very tempted by a fully loaded 5 series touring but every time I drive the Legacy I realise I'll be happy in it for another 50k, so why bother?

It's a manual
Got a few tweaks in the pipe line
I do keep checking RS4 avants etc
But for the money it is a hell of a lot of car.

I came close to a big brake kit not long ago and I've still got an eye out for some Impreza STI calipers but that's really not what I bought the car for.

I think a supercharger would suit it nicely but I'll leave that to you

My most miles to the tank is about 320 (about 50 Litres), but normally 220/230. if I cane it then much less

Graham you can't resist chavving it up !!
