Default Now that's a proper Aston

A good friend of mine collected this from the Aston Workshop last week.

It was a one owner (known to my friend) car that had been garage bound for the last 20 years. He's had it restored mechanically - although it's still wearing it's 1960s paintwork.

It is an absolutely lovely car with some real character.

And as you may have seen from my other post, made me realise it might be time to have something non-Japanese with more than 4 cylinders.

The plan is to ship it out to the US sometime this year.

It was a real privilege to ride in this car (and drive it round the car park!)

That's lovely.

So when are you getting rid of your "jap crap" then?

Haven't decided.

Think I might take a trip down to Malton's in N Yorks in the spring and try a few different 911s. See what I like.

I think the Teg is going to go this year, and maybe the S2000 (or maybe not).

We'll keep the ATR as I've just done all the main mechanicals for another few years on that.
