These folk on strike aren't even refinery workers Ffs, these walkouts do not affect the day to day running of the plant. Any reason to form a queue in this country.!

What's going on with fuel then? Haven't ventured out of hte road for a few days and scoob still hardly has anh fuel in, and it needs some to get to work and back - do I fill it up from the jerrys in the garage, or are the petrol stations actually fine!

Not that I've been to one recently, but I have driven past a few and not noticed any unusual behaviour - I'm sure you'll be fine Jo

I've seen fuel prices go up the last few days but no queues.

These guys were building new units, carrrying out maintainance, that sort of thing in existing plants, or building new plant altogether, so the plant runs normally whilst these contractors carry out this work.

I filled up today:

The M&S rare beef & horseradish sarny wasn't bad at all, but wasn't filling.

The 'Lude was full and quite liked the 97 RON BP, too.

There were no queues, despite a heavy recovery vehicle occupying a lot of the pumps.

Tomorrow, I'll mostly be making my own sandwich...
