Default Petrol Boycott?

Got this on an E-mail, if it's a repost I don't care as anything to put pressure on OPEC greedy B*stards is good.

See what you think and pass it on if you agree with it. We are hitting 95p a litre in some areas now, soon we will be faced with paying

I suspect a significant majority of petrol supplied through the supermarkets comes from both Esso and BP, so the people who'll suffer most under your plan will be the little men, ie. the Esso and BP franchisees ...

This plan is also as old as the internet. I believe in the the dark ages there used to be tablet versions going from city to city advising against buying your horse feed from certain multi-nationals

I think Mark Turner has a copy of that on his mantel piece, an original given to him direct from the source.

Anyway - this is a blatant re-hash of the same thing over and over. I've already been beaten to the "The government takes the lion's share" bit.

Buit thank you for sharing it with us just in case we had not seen it before

It's a chain mail, pure and simple

Anything that asks you to forward to as many people as possible is just spam.

I've yet to find an exception

I'll blame the government anyway

But - percentage wise per litre, the tax has diminished. So, it could be speculated that the somewhere in the supply chain someone MAY be making a higher % of profit than in the past.
