Default The Pod Has Landed

Some of you will remember that we had our trailer nicked a few months back, stolen right outside our workshops under the nose of CCTV and sleepy Security Guard. Well the replacement has arrived and for the weekend its living with me .

Its as if Thunderbird 2 made a delivery overnight -

Its a big-boys toy-box

Yes - Westfiled XTR2 with 1.6 Hyabusa 220-240 bhp following latest engine rebuild.

Fortunately only trailer was nicked and some uninsured Image light weight wheels and tyres. Car isn't kept in trailer over-night unless in the workshop, where the "pod" is very handy at keeping dust and grime off.

So you have a job that involves playing with cars like that?

Right. Now where did I put the address of my careers advisor? C***.

I wish !

No sadly not, but my build partner has an "industrial unit" he uses for fabrication of various bits and bobs for his building business. Also doubles for a handy workshop when building above car.

Boring old office job for me

will that fit in the garage, or will it be stuck on the drive.

I'd shit myself leaving that on the drive.

You should put a fake fin on the top and find some grey plastic piping to double as a mast.

Car fits in garage. Trailer fits in factory - we don't leave it out at night unless absolutely necessary. With me for a couple of days due major project going on in said factory.

Car is never left outside- unless staying overnight at a Track Day.
