That vette is shocking! even worse there was the incredibly limited edition Fezza

I admit I cannot find a single nice pic of the Panamera anywhere. It just isnt photogenic. see it in the flesh and some of you may find it to be an interesting alternative to the exec car list currently out there.

I passed a black Panam whotsit in company with a dark coloured Quattroporte up at Cluanie Inn in the scottish highlands (A87) this afternoon. A journo test I assume.

Having seen one in the flesh, Nick's pictures simply confirm that, to my eyes at least, the Panamera looks many things, but nice is not one of them.

The Paner911 is just a failure imo.

Porsche just seem to assume that using a 911 as a base model and then abusing it in all possible ways will produce a car to behold.

Boxster - 911 on the Atkins diet.

Caymen - 911 on Atkins diet with quick Snickers bar visits on the sly.

Cayenne - 911 on Steroids.

Panemera - 911 on Steroids but with the self awareness to spread the weight rather than bulge like the Cayenne.

Anyone who chooses the Paner911 over the Quattroporte is obviously not a true petrolhead and needs to analyze their motoring heart.

...whreas the owner of the 4porte will probably end up IN analysis. Or despair. Or insolvency.

They do look & sound gorgeous, though.

Chopping (or have chopped) the M5 in for something stylish but hopelessly unreliable, Nige.....?

You may have been hanging around with that Field bloke for too long!

The Panamera is truly fugly. And I say that as a Porschephile and one-time 911 owner. It looks like a 911 that has been cut and shut and had a bit inserted into the middle!

It might drive very nicely but, for the same money, it would be a Maser for me every time - GranTurismo if possible but, if not, I could be slum it in a QP

Not yet Mark. It's the only car I would change the M5 for, like for like.

I suspect I'll change in 2 years time.

I think they are the most beautiful looking 4 door ever built - the rear quarter...
