I have definitely seen more and more broken tops of suspension springs lying by the kerbside of a few of my local roads. The holes are bloody craters up this way, so much so, you become very aware of them and its automatic that you tend to drive over a certain stretch of these pitted roads to avoid the canyons! Some short sighted drivers are not so lucky..
Allegedly the govt reckons they are spunking the HS2 project money at this enormous & continual problem. More BS from the Tories?

There is no money to fix them, the Tories have been beyond fiscally incompetent. It's littered here. I imagine Bev's, being heavy twats, will suffer worst too.

My old BM had a spring break like that, it hit my tyre and killed that too

Very bad in Oxfordshire. We don't use local roads in winter - they're full of deep holes that are filled with water. Drive through one of them at 10 mph and you have a wrecked tyre, any faster and more damage.

Meanwhile, immigration as Jason brought up. The Swedish labour party thought it would be a good idea to import large numbers of people from the global south - mainly middle east as it turned out. You ask yourself why? With the hope they would vote labour of course. How did it go? Not very well at all, Sweden has a legal and government system developed over centuries which is heavily dependant on that the population does the right thing. So what happens if you bring in a lot of people from countries with clan based societies and very low trust in the state? A massive crime wave that Sweden is not capable of stopping. Coupled with crime gang turf wars where they shoot at each other and where they bomb competitor's homes. With innocents in the way.
