I would never do anything of the sort but if you cast your mind back, he was undergoing a Dacia moment about 18 months or so back, as a pikey RS4 Estate.

I've been spoilt by the golf... the duster seemed a viable sideways step from the Crv.

I think those dusters are pretty cool. I'd imagine those could be had for very little on the used market. What a cheap load lugger.

It's an 8k Qashqai 2nd hand but with none of the troublesome electrical gizmos to go wrong.

I understand (a decade in) there's still very little of yer actural plank-sharing between the two parent companies, so it's probably largely an expended ancient Clio.

But the principle is the same...
