Don't know a lot about Imprezas, just hope that Subaru aren't cashing in on the memory of the great man in order to shift more cars.
I dont get why you are so against these cars Pete? Im not sure that's a true statement either. Ok, gone are the days of the classic scoob when there were 12 month waiting lists, but they are still selling well. Second hand market is dead, but it is with most cars.
Honda struggle to shift many S2000's. Many dealers wont buy them. Doesn't make it a bad car
The new Burns car does look rather smart. They will always be limited by the top mount IC in terms of power, compared to the EVO, but its all part of the charm

Sorry, I feel a bit cynical about this. If it was JUST one car and that auction and charity proceeds etc then fine, but to then sell a line of (albeit limited edition) cars off the back of it does smack of cashing in to me.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
Well the original RB5 was considdered by many, to be the best UK spec car ever made (the WR version) So they have already made one version. The hold value really well too.
The other one is the 22B which is Burns related also. They are still fetching 20-30k 8 years on!
At the end of the day, they would have had to consult with the Burns family before doing this - im sure.
I wouldnt be too cynical tbh. They will all be sold stupidly fast.

Well, check it out. They've been struggling to move metal for a while. Hence the offers of free fuel, big discounts and five year warranties. This thread is about a new car.
I didn't make a connection between sales and quality.
