I was injured by one of those;

I walked into a tree staring at it.

Probably not as quick and suffering from huge Turbo lag, but I would prefer a Audi Sport Quattro S1.

Each to their own and I wouldn't say no to a RS200.

Is this car officially as RS200 though or is it a parts bin car ??

Looking at the prices of other RS200's recently it's actually a little cheap.

they are cars that are on my list of 'would like to drive one day'

a very different list from 'would like to own'

although cars can move between the lists, obviously

Although there are very few on the 'would like to own' list! Maybe the driving might change that.

I don't remember Douglas Hall being Sir. That was his dad not spoilt waster son Dougie.

FWIW Douglas Hall has had some serious cars in his time. I remember seeing him in Newcastle in a yellow F40 and was told by one of his colleagues that he had two - one for driving, one for investment. He also had a Porsche 959 with NUFC black and white seats IIRC.

Indeed, the Lotus Esprit used to be on my 'like to own' list until I actually drove one (S4 V8 in pastel Green).
Sometimes the list should stay as a list
