Following the inspection and report we have agreed to a basic restoration of the TR. Today we have taken a cheque to Greenwood to cover the cost of spares that will be needed initially, together with the panels that we had shot-blasted and zinc coated.

The TR and its stable mate, a sweet little 1965 TVR Griffith, seem quite happy under the gaze of the nude ladies on the wall. Why wouldn’t they be, both coming from an era before political correctness where nude women decorated the walls of every garage and workshop? As Mr Q says, the car is no stranger to toplessness.

Excelent news, I hate to see cars being scrapped if they can be salvaged (I'm a bit sentimental like that), within reason. I, like everyone else, look forward to reading the progress reports.
