I love/d my S. But after 3 years of very happy ownership I just thought I wanted a change.

Mark's comment about Honda having something S2k owners aspire to is a great point. There just isn't anything there. I'm looking for the same grin I got originally from the S so that's my main sales criteria. The Porsche was lacking severly in this area. The Lotus pair had, the Elise more so than the Exige for me, and I'mn trying an M3 tomorrow.

But has to be there - badge is immaterial to me.

Ian I meant that S owners love the S, I sitll do, but Honda don't deliver a car above the S anymore.

This is a shame as Honda's values like performance and reliability would be praised at that level compared to the others like TVR for example.

I think Ian meant that it was him that pointed out Honda have nothing for the S owner to aspire to, not me.

Option 3 would suffice I guess.

In an ideal world, I would like something better from Honda.

I'd happily stick with Honda if they made something I wanted...but they don't.

Shame about the HSC - I had my name down for 1 of them.

Other than the S (and I've had one) there is nothing they make I want - so I have no option but to change.

Pity really.
