Seems a bit pointless to drive 6 miles a day in?

I will use it as my joint daily drive with the S2000 for the 6 miles a day (less than 1k miles a year)

Weekends it will get used properly - 200 to 300 miles when the weather is good (5k miles a year).

So its really just a weekend car that will be used to drive to the office.

Mine went for 14K - 49k miles, manual, very clean but no sat nav.

Sounds like youll use it as much as I did, that wont cost you much to run then, mine didnt! I paid about 500 a year insurance, 6k miles, garaged 32 years old FULL NCB.

Enjoy - my tip get one with the following if you ever want to sell again!

must have - 19s(need to be very tidy as hard to refurb without doing all)
ideally HK stereo
Ideally Sat nav(mine didnt - dealers say worth 2k less!)
ideally FULL BMW history(some put off by indy history as mine)
must have passed first 1200 mile check(walk away if not)
Keep the colours inside and out sensible

Insurance - As above - no one here can answer that - as they are no you, or live in your house etc

For M3 running costs.
Although a few on here own, or have owned M3's
I would find an M3 forum and ask there
Bigger pool of people that own M3's reside there.

Not heard much in the way of horror stories on engines at all - unless you are buying a 100K mile car, then you take your chance but you probably do on any car.

BTW if you find one with cassette which lots do you can buy a CD off ebay for about
