Are its reversing lights on or is that 1970's Italian wiring doing its thing ? They are achingly beautiful to look at though ! (in better angled pics)

Probably.

Marcello Gandini, IIRC. I like the eyelashes on the boggo version.

Pity we cannot make anything that clean anymore.

Me, in 1976.

This was at a Citroen dealer in Norwich; they were struggling to sell the Miura for £5,000.

EDIT: Price corrected; there was an errant zero; it was only £5,000 (five thousand) being asked for the car!

Bloody 'ell - so much of that photograph looks worryingly familiar!

Actually, I saw a Huracan yesterday. My god, those louvres are nearly as 1970s as that haircut.

It's no Miura, but it's certainly striking and reasonably clean, by modern standards.

It was travelling in a gang of such devices, least impressive of which was an Aston Martin and the one I liked the most was the little McLaren. And that they were travelling alphabetically, it seemed.

It was indeed an era and a half!

As someone with very curly hair, that feathered hairstyle required a battle with a hairdryer every morning... but it was essential to complement the ensemble, which consisted of a cheesecloth shirt, brutus 'fader' trousers and Clark's desert boots.

Mine was just wavy and so the inverted flowerpot occurred naturally. Mind you, the engine-degreaser shampoos meant it was about as dry as candy floss...
