My employer has authorised me to purchase a Route 66 Sat.Nav. from Halfruads.
Some of my colleagues had whinged because they cannot read maps, & have convinced they will save the company time & money by not getting lost in the persuit of their business calls.

Big b...y deal me thinks.

TomTom own the in car Sat Nav Market for a reason.

Garmin are pretty decent as well, okay well their aviation SatNav is great.

Don't get cheap stuff or you'll be finding yourself driving down a railway line

TomTom or Garmin, everything else is probably not worth it

I'm aware of Garmin & how good they are, through their aviation associated products.

Contributing to the cost complicates as to who owns it when it comes to be exchanged, sold or should I leave the company.

Will take matter up when I return to work.
Will also speak to any of my colleagues who couldn't wait to buy a new toy on expenses!!!!

I have a Nokia "navigator" phone which has Route 66 sat nav and its fine for my needs .

But occaisionally be prepared for a quick emergency stop to achieve some of the " turn here " commands if you are speeding
