Default Shape the bikes of the future

Ladies & Gents - I thought I'd post (copy & paste) this on here to see if it's of any interest - I'm signed up and going along on the Sunday.

Details -

We're planning to conduct a market research study into future bike products at the end of July. This study will take place in Farnborough and we're interested in talking to owners of bikes over 250cc and younger than 2002. The event is running on the following dates and will take a maximum of 2.5hours.
Friday 29th July,
Saturday 30th July
Sunday 31st July.
Location: Farnborough (details will be given on registration)

We will be interested to learn your views on the bikes of today. Some (not all) of you will get a chance to ride – for this reason you must bring your leathers and helmet with you on the day.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are selected to ride, you will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and disclaimer before the ride.

We'll need to ask you a series of qualifying questions and if you're the type of rider we'd like to interview we will invite you to take part in the research survey. You will be paid for your time.

If you are interested in taking part please email bike.event@rabbit-rabbit.co.uk with your name, address, contact details with the make, model and year of your bike, and we will contact you to conduct an initial interview. Please be assured that this is a bona fide market research study and no attempt will be made to sell you anything, we are simply interested in your opinion.

Not sure.

If I get ride anything I have to sign a non-disclosure agreement so won't be able to say too much - but I'm sure I'll be able to say what was there.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought Oh Trek, Specialized, BMC I'm being influenced by Le Tour de France in our house at the moment

| saw the new BMW 1000RR (had to look that up) whilst in France, never seen one in the UK.
Stunning. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the need for another bike.
(I miss my 1260 wiseco Bandit wheelie toy )

A radical shift for BMW in recent years.
So I wonder if beemer will be helping to facilitate this?

I know a couple of people with the S1000RR, one of them being Welshman on here.

They're quite nice, if not a little odd looking from the front.

A patient I recently had who has one now, and previously used to have a K7 Thou said they were very similar to ride.
Don't know if Philip can shed any light on this?
Or perhaps let me ride his so I can answer the question?
