Hi MB,
The rb320 was incredible! So so fast and raw. Brilliant! But not usable every day - its too low (it grounded on the way into a petrol station at the front!) and its just too fast - i would have lost my licence in a week!
Just incredible though - completely different league in terms of pace and grip to anything ive driven.
cheers,
james

[QUOTE=lordjimimac,Mar 16 2009, 09:29 PM] Hi,
I thought id write a 1 year review on Z4C ownership

Good things:
Engine is great
Steering and handling are great fun with dtc on
looks still do it for me
build and ownership is great - so solid and reliable
genuinely good fun to take on a blast (particularly those of more than 100 miles)

bad things:
i need a soft top!
The s2k gearbox is what makes the car so good and i miss it!
Not as exciting or involving as the s2k

But all in all its been a great year and id thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting one.

That said, motorpoint have a new 09 s2k for

Hi Billy,
Still on the runflats but gonna change when theyre due. To be honest i havent got a massive problem with them - my cooper s works had them and they are fine for 70% of the life but are very slippery for the last 30% - but in the z4c this makes the back pleasingly playful!

Not had it remapped but definately considering - just trying to work out if DMS do it and if the gains are worth it. I read somehwere that they can get 20bht and 20nm for

Thought id post thoughts on some recent test drives in case anyone is interested..

I tried a new 3.4 boxster S - and it was seriously good. Really powerful engine, great gearchange, and superb handling. I can go as far to say that i was completlly blown away by the drive. But it was way out of my price range...

So I then tried a 3.2 2005 987 -

Interesting report; the Boxster S does seem to have matured into a damned decent car.
