Shock Horror! Civ fails MOT!
After 71,000 miles, a rear ARB drop link has failed. Might explain the sudden understeery/roll-oversteery handling.
I'm getting the rear trailing arm bushes replaced simultaneously, which is admittedly rather more labour-intensive. Only thing labour-intensive today, eh Gordy? Eh?
But together with a weeping steering rack gaiter some years ago, it's another thing that's gone wrong with it.
I dunno, modern cars etc...

Well don't sell it, you daft bugger!
Every twunt out there will want so spend three times the money on a poxy Audi which is far more self-image patting, despite/because of always being in the bloody repair bay...

Nick you should get an old car then with all those grease nipples and decoke's etc every 20,000 miles loverly.
What went wrong with the ARB drop link, you may have seen a thread of mine where i had an awful "creaking" form the rear end, it turned out to be my ARB drop link ball joint's dry. But did yours break?
