Ok. I'm not seriously considering it .... Well, not yet anyway. I've not got the ragtop version but...

You take one C5 corvette ( 1999 - 2004 ) effectievely replace the skin, and you get this.


How COOL is that ?

I think, when I'm old and fat ... er ... ok... Older and fatter, I might just buy an older C5 convertible and go for it.

I think it looks facking sweet (more so without the horrid two-tone paint job). And it will go round corners unlike the car it's pretending to be.

Would you get away with that sort of change here nowadays, bearing in mind the sharp bits on it that modern cars aren't allowed to have (reducing pedestrian injury, etc)?

Pretty cool tho.
