Default A slightly different sort of build (Update: 16/01)

Hi all

Thought I would make use of an old V8 Block today from our famous Mk1 Cortina from Drag Racing!

Currently very dirty and need of a bit of TLC but I can see the potential

With Pistons

As you can Probably notice there are 4 Larger pistons these are from the Very Well known Fuel Altered Havoc from drag Racing!.

Guess what its going to be yet

Ill Keep you all updated to the Progress!!!

Right Decided to do the easy ones first and give the Large Pistons and conrods a good clean

Before!
Great condition but needed a little bit of a clean..

I first Blasted them with a high pressure steam to remove the loose bits of dirt and grime.

I then took them apart

I poped them into a bucket of car shampoo with boiling water and left to soak for about 30mins, dried them and gave them a little bit of elbow grease and some metal polish

Before and After

Them repeated on the other 3
