I'm more worried about the people who see national and do 40, progress to a 30 and continue to do 40.

And in my experience, this is very likely to be someone driving a car with children on board.

There are a couple of ways to deal with this I think, although neither are plausable and have flaws

1) Somehow get everyone to not get caught for the first few months - they lose a shed load of money and look like helmets. But oh, yes, we get stung to pick up the cost. Bugger.

2) We do a typical half hearted British protest, by having a bit of a grumble on car forums, and moaning in the pub. A bit like when petrol prices went through the roof. Of course they will listen!

So the only solution is unusually, to be more like the Frogs and start getting angry. Arranging mass camera slaughter meets! We have the means to do such clandestine things via the use of the various forums and PM system

I have so much respect for those unnamed bunch who went around torturing Gatsos in the most amusing ways (self expanding foam / paint / chain swas etc)
