Default stupid sunny weather

Just got pulled by an unmarked Golf R32, he had a handheld laser device in the car, I didn't think anything of a Golf parked up ahead in a sideroad.

Oh well do the crime do the time, those R32's don't pay for themselves!

My uncle has told me they seem to be doing this in manchester, errm is there some legal thing against this?

Surely unmarked cop cars cant give out speeding tickets.

At least dick turpin wore a mask.

the only illegal thing about it is the offense being committed, that being speeding

dont they have to have 'speedcam' signs, or is that only for fixed-site?

i guess i answer my own question on if you were caught on the motorway...no signs but you can still be caught!

Saw an unmarked R32 on the motorway with someone pulled over few months ago, very discreet car for the traffic police to use. There are two unmarked 5 Series Tourers in Sheffield (one silver, one grey), fully blacked out windows to the rear and the officers never wear hi-vis. Even the blue/red lights are almost impossible to spot until they light up! Not often you see police using laser devices anymore. My only 3 points came from one of those back in 2000, the 3 speed camera offences since have never made it onto my licence....

There's often a thing like that near where I live.
It's two blokes from the armed response unit who do speed checks when they're not off shooting at people.

They are fantastic.

They operate on roads with 30/40 limits near schools.
Anyone doing 5-10 over the limit gets a damn good talking too.
Anyone doing 10+ over the limit gets a ticket and a bollocking.

Two guys who shoot at people for a living know how to bollock someone and not take any shit - seeing some wideboy in his BMW-M try and talk back to them was pretty funny.

I can't stand speed cameras on open de-reg roads, but I think if you speed past a school then you deserve to get nailed.
