Default sub 1000 beater estate

Hi all,

Need suggestions - have less than a grand to spend on a large estate car - Mondeo or something - pref diesel - its going to be used to go up and down the motorway to bike races and filled with bikes and cr4p. Will sell it in Feb once the season is over........so dont want to spend anything on it if I can

suggestions please!

Log onto Autotrader (register) and you can put in a maximum price and the word 'estate'.

At least 200 cars will come up...there are some real gems in there....many big Volvos...and diesel passats / Golfs.

Then there's always Nissans....go for the ugly ones...they're dirt cheap.
