They have one parked outside their dealership in TW. it has been there for weeks. my theory is the staff dont want to work and are trying to scare the customers off

Seen a couple in the flesh at the dealers and rather than ugly I'd just say bland. The STi is a bit beefier but still I wouldn't say it is a good looking car.

Subaru have made some catastrophic errors recently.

First there was the extremely ugly MPV thingy with the strange front end and now the Impreza.

The Impreza really is a terminally dull car. Do they really expect people to buy it?

They dropped to new lows with the WRX version which looks like a Halfords version of the standard slow model.

The STI looks all wrong too, with 17" wheels that don't fit the arches, terrible rear light clusters, a boring shape made slightly better with flared arches and a really terrible interior.

Someone is Subaru should be taken out side and flogged.

It can't be as bad as the wrx bug eyed version surely? One of the worst car designs this side of Rover or Kia.

I think they've out done even that, Subaru's are meant to be ugly but this one is just wrong

maybe there's some kind of reverse psychology going on?

you know, to fit with the

"my Subaru is just as fast as cars costing a zillion times as much"

well, we know why don't we?

It's really not that bad; the door section IS very close to the 1er at one point. Grille & rear lights aside, at least it's not hopelessly overstyled.

Hard to think of a C-segment car that is attractive, anymore.

Haven't managed to see either in the flesh, but based on photo's the WRX is awfully bland, but the STi might be ok..... even nice looking from some angles... but need to see it before I decide!
